Film Criticism Survey 2013 – Then and Now – Complete Survey Results

Critic-Main-600x314

In the November issue of Vérité film magazine part of a survey that I conducted with film critics worldwide was published on the subject of how film criticism compares today to 20+ years ago and what the future holds.

Now published here for the first time are the complete results of my survey:

The following film critics kindly took part in the survey:

Adrian Martin, Antti Alanen, David Stratton, David Thomson, Jonathan Rosenbaum, David Thompson, Chris Fujiwara, Nigel Andrews, Nick James, Tom Charity, Tony Rayns, Luc Moullet, Geoff Gardner and Geoff Andrew.

I realise this survey is very male-dominated but 10 female film critics were asked to take part but sadly declined.
